Trevor Barrette (he/him) is an award-winning queer Montreal-based theatre maker, storyteller and teacher. Since graduating from theatre school in 2011, he has written and produced four full-length musicals and two plays. His work has been presented at Centaur Theatre's Wildside Festival, Segal Centre's Academy, MainLine Theatre's Encore Series, St-Ambroise's MTL Fringe Festival, among others. As an actor, he has had the pleasure of performing onstage with the National Arts Centre, Centaur Theatre, Repercussion Theatre, Geordie Productions, Scapegoat Carnivale, Persephone Productions and Talking Dog Productions as well as in workshops and readings for the National Theatre School, Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal, Teesri Duniya Theatre and Infinithéâtre. In the last few years, he has proudly served his community as President of the Montreal English Theatre Awards and Vice President of the Quebec Drama Federation.
